Special subjects offered:

VES offers a broad-based liberal arts curriculum with over 65 courses to choose from. All core courses offer Honor and AP tracks. Currently, we offer 19 AP courses. Foreign languages include French, Spanish and Latin. We offer a number of computer courses ranging from introductory keyboard to web site design and AP Computer Science. We also offer video production as well.

Extra curricular activities (clubs):

VES offers a number of extracurricular activities across a wide range of interests. These include community service, drama, Glee Club, Instrumental Ensemble, art club, science club, a coffee house and leadership opportunities for all students.

Weekend Activities:

VES has a full-time weekend activities director. On any given weekend, there are a number of structured activities for students to take advantage of. These range from activities on campus to activities in and outside of the Lynchburg area. If students want to just relax on campus, they can take advantage of all the VES facilities, including the campus pool.
