You’ll probably realize pretty soon after you arrive why we wanted to prepare you "interculturally”. The Americans and Canadians are just different than we are – the voyage of discovery has begun... It’s more than the foreign language and the time difference – you’ll get used to those things pretty quickly. The “other”, the unknown, the new asks a lot of you. More than the written rules, the unwritten ones will challenge your diplomatic touch and your intuition. These abilities will be very important in your adult life - what others have to learn the hard way over time will have long become an integral part of you. To your advantage! On campus you are part of a community of teachers, mentors and fellow students. Small classes and active, committed teachers ensure a high level of education in the subjects you have chosen. The technical, musical and athletic equipment and facilities also open many doors for you – the choice is yours! At about mid-year your mentor from ssb will pay a visit.
