Culture shock awaits. Good old Germany has its quirks, too. “Coming home” isn’t always as easy as one thinks! We help you absorb the shock and readjust. You should be able to follow in classes back home without difficulty, as we took the German courses into consideration in schedule-planning for your year abroad. You should also be well-equipped to handle the adversities of daily life in Germany thanks to your newly-won self-confidence, self-discipline and the “social competence” gained through experience in community. If you wish, we are happy to put you in touch with alumni you can share your experiences with! If you and your parents so desire, we can follow up in the year after with consultation on foreign degrees and diplomas, transcript recognition and university decisions.
