Three unique qualities of the school, in addition to the high quality of education, in a caring and supportive environment:

  1. Fulford Academy offers transitional programs for English Second Language (ESL) students, aged 11 to 17, which linguistically, academically and culturally prepares them for entrance into prestigious Canadian and USA boarding schools. Fulford Academy goes beyond the functional English syllabus to provide a content-rich, high-standards curriculum preparing ESL students to become academically successful in content learning.
  2. We teach from content based ESL curriculum, allowing student to increase their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills through Math, Science, Social Studies and English literature, thus learning the classroom vocabulary to help them succeed academically.
  3. Our Summer Academic Orientation Program is specifically designed for students who have already received a "Letter of Acceptance" to a boarding school for September or for students considering a boarding experience in the future.

Sports offered:
A variety of general non-competitive sports offered throughout the year: soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, swimming, skating, curling and more.

Extra curricular activities:

New media club, garden club, grad club, community volunteering, and various after class activities. Also, Boarding School Tours including interview preparation and submission of applications.

Weekend activities:

Trips to Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal Toronto and Niagara Falls, as well as many on and off campus weekend activities.
