The Masters School
Dobbs Ferry, New York, USA |
Three unique qualities of the school, in addition to the high quality of education, in a caring and supportive environment:
- Location, location, location! Our beautiful 96 green acre campus is nestled up on a hilltop overlooking the
Hudson River in the quaint rivertown of Dobbs Ferry, New York. While the safe town of Dobbs Ferry gives our campus the look and feel of an Old New England Boarding School, we are only a mere 30 minute train ride from New York City’s Times Square & Grand Central Station (and only 20 minutes from Columbia University). Truly we have the best of both worlds!
- Harkness style classes are taught by an amazingly diverse faculty body. About 30% of the School’s faculty are bilingual and over 70% of Masters‘ faculty hold a post-baccalaureate degree.
- Location! The Dobbs Ferry Metro North Train Station is a five minute walk from campus. This means our faculty are able to easily plan class trips to New York City, our dorm parents can spontaneously design a day trip over the weekend without worrying about transportation, and our Director of Weekend Activities has a safe means of transporting students to and from the unlimited number of academic and cultural immersion opportunities in the city.
