Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Three unique qualities of the school, in addition to the high quality of education, in a caring and supportive environment:
  1. FVS puts a high priority on experiential education, giving students hands-on experience in classroom activities and school-sponsored programs such as Interim and the Western Immersion Program.
  2. FVS is proud of its Western roots and location, and encourages students to embrace the many opportunities associated with living in the West, including the School's adventurous outdoor education and equestrian programs.
  3. The wide variety and quality of the arts department is a special component; students can learn ceramics, jewelry-making, photography or painting; sing in one of three choirs, play an instrument with the School's Wind Ensemble or Chamber Strings, or participate in one of the school's three annual theater productions, including a winter musical.
